Kerry Youngstrom, Founder and Artistic Director of the GOTTA Dance Studio, is thrilled to be living her lifelong dream of teaching and performing with all her wonderful and supportive students. She has been teaching dance for over 25 years and is a graduate of the Dance Teachers Club of Boston's Teacher Training Course.  Majored in dance at Colby-Sawyer College in New Hampshire, she did a summer internship in Illinois with Gus Giordano, a pioneer in jazz dance. Also, since 1983 she has been teaching and performing with the Dance Forever Studio, in Braintree, under the direction of Polly Feinberg. To keep up with the latest trends in the field she attends many master classes and workshops. This year she brought students to New York City to attend the New York City Dance Alliance National Workshop. They enjoyed taking classes ,touring Radio City Music Hall and seeing a Broadway show. Kerry is most proud of her community service dance performances, she has been bringing her students to perform at Duxbury Senior Center, Children's Hospital in Boston and Pembroke Arts Festival. In keeping with her philosophy she believes every dancer should have a chance to shine and to learn to dance in a fun yet professional environment.

Kerry is the Artistic Director and Founder of the CentreStage Dance Company since 1989.   Each summer this unique troupe of adult dancers performs at the Pembroke Arts Festival.

She makes her home in Pembroke with her husband and 3 children.  She would like to thank her family for all their encouragement, love and support through the years and for always being her biggest fans.
